Tuesday Mooney Talks to Ghost by Kate Racculia: I’ve only recently learned about this book, but it sounds like it was written for me. It involves a game with clues about Edgar Allan Poe set in Boston. And it was compared to The Westing Game, which is my favorite childhood book. My body is ready!

The Faithless Hawk by Margaret Owen: This is the sequel to The Merciless Crow, which I read last year and ended up loving. I’m stupid excited for this book, but also WORRIED because THAT TITLE! I need my disaster children to be okay! Especially Fie.

Illuminae by Amie Kaufman/Jay Kristoff: I’ve had this book for what feels like forever and I just know I’m going to love it. I just keep skipping over it for other books! I plan on reading it very soon, though, and I cannot wait. I am here for all the mixed media sci-fi adventures!

Muse of Nightmares by Laini Taylor: If Illuminae has been on my TBR for forever, this book has been there since the day before forever. Seriously, I’ve had this book for so. long. I don’t know why I can’t convince myself to just pick it up and read it! I adored Strange the Dreamer and I really want to know how the story ends.

The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller: I have a fondness for retellings, but I have a special weak spot for mythological retellings. Last year, I read Circe by Madeline Miller and fell in love. It is such a beautiful book and I’ve heard that Song of Achilles is even better.

The Hero of Ages by Brandon Sanderson: The last book in the original Mistborn series. I love this series so much and I’m intensely anticipating this book. It’s so easy to fall into this world and take up residence. Sanderson is an amazing writer and I just know I’m going to love this book.

The Wise Man’s Fear by Patrick Rothfuss: The Name of the Wind was the first book I read in 2019, after a year long reading slump, and I gave it five stars. I’m predicting that the sequel will similarly blow me away! I’m eager to get back to Kvothe’s story.

There Will Come A Darkness by Katy Rose Pool: Man, I was so hyped for this book last year. I even bought a book box (which, funnily enough, I never do) solely because this was the book in it. And did I read it? Clearly not. I get so excited about books and snap them up and then… don’t read them for months or years. But I’m determined to read this one before the sequel comes out!

The Kingdom of Back by Marie Lu: We all know I love a pretty cover and just LOOK at this! It’s divine! But it also features Mozart’s musically talented sister who is trying not to let his genius overshadow her. And, for reasons, faeries get involved. At least, that’s the gist I got and I am here. for. it!

The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo: I’ve heard nothing but rave reviews for this book. The premise has always intrigued me, but, for one reason or another, I always moved past this book. Then I read Daisy Jones and the Six and gobbled it up! Now I can’t wait to sink my teeth into this one!
