It’s time for another WWW Wednesday! This is a bookish meme hosted by Taking on a World of Words where bloggers answer the 3 Ws:
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
If you’d like to learn more about any of these books, click on the cover to be taken to the Goodreads page.
Current Reads
The Last Human by Zack Jordan: I started on my second March ARC! So far, it’s definitely interesting. I’ve just started so there’s not much going on. There is, however, a ton of potential!
The Chalk Man by C.J. Tudor: I picked this book out for the Popsugar Reading Challenge prompt that requires you to pick the first book you touch on your bookshelf. Apparently, my subconscious thinks it has been far too long since I read a proper thriller. I’m really enjoying it so far!
Recently Finished
The Kingdom of Back by Marie Lu: Y’all, this book was beautiful. The descriptions! The emotions! The cover! Everything about this book was mesmerizing. I’m going to stop myself before I just ramble on for the next hour and point you towards my review if you’d like to know all my thoughts.
The Deep by Rivers Solomon: This is more of a 3.5 rounded up. I rarely give out half stars but this is one of those books that needs it. Because I’m confused about my feelings for this book, lol. It was excellent, but weird? I’m not sure… I’m still trying to wrap up my feelings so I can write my review. It’s definitely a powerful book, though.
What’s Next
Bonds of Brass by Emily Skrutskie: This is one of my most anticipated books of 2020 and I was just approved for an ARC on Netgalley! I was browsing Netgalley when I really shouldn’t be…
Ya know, as one does…
And I spotted this beauty available for request. I knew I shouldn’t cause I’m still catching up, but I figured I wouldn’t get approved anyway. And then, BAM, I got the email saying it was ready for download! I’m so excited to get started on this one 😁
So what are you reading this week? Did you do a WWW Wednesday post? Let me know in the comments!
And, as always, happy reading!
I read The Chalk Man last year and liked it 🙂
