This question is calling me out. You see, I’ve been wanting to give bookish podcasts (and podcasts in general) a try for what feels like years. I also have the attention span of a gnat, so here’s how that interest usually pans out:

So. Yeah… I have yet to actively listen to any of the bookish podcasts that have been recommended to me 😅 That being said, with everything going on in the world and trying, as a Black woman, to be more supportive of my fellow Black content creators, I decided to track down a bookish podcast that was produced by Black bookish people.

And that’s how I came across Black Chick Lit! As their website states, they are a “bi-monthly podcast that talks books by and about black women.” I’ve already listened to a sampling of their most recent episode and look forward to going through their backlog! Feel free to check out their website, where you can find all their episodes, bios on the hosts, and ways to support.
