This Week’s Question

Do you use the Kindle app on your phone or iPad for reading e-books?

Funnily enough, I have an actual Kindle and this question made me realize that I use my Kindle app far more often than I use my Kindle 😂

In my defense, I usually have my phone on me at all times! And I’ve been leaning more heavily into reading physical books lately. I go back and forth between how I consume my books (with a bit of audiobooks sprinkled in for a treat) and, right now, the pendulum is swinging back towards physicals. That means that I don’t really think about bringing my Kindle with me because I usually have a physical book that I’m reading and will tote along.

On the occasions that I forget my book or I find myself with unforeseen downtime, though, I instantly bring up my Kindle app. I love that it syncs to my Kindle, too, so if I am in the middle of the e-book but forget the actual Kindle, I can jump to wherever I stopped previously. Reading on my phone is not my favorite, but it’s definitely help me stave off boredom many a time! And, like I said, I always have my phone on me, so I always have something to read. It’s the best.

  1. It’s so convenient that the Kindle app is on the phone! I use my Kindle more often, but sometimes I do use Kindle on my computer or on my phone. I don’t always carry around my Kindle so if I’m out and I feel like reading, phone app it is!

There’s also an app for the computer which I have downloaded but I often find myself forgetting about its existence and just using the online browser instead, haha!
