It’s time for another WWW Wednesday! This is a bookish meme hosted by Taking on a World of Words where bloggers answer the 3 Ws:
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
If you’d like to learn more about any of these books, click on the cover to be taken to the Goodreads page.
Current Reads
- The Bone Shard Daughter by Andrea Stewart: I’m about one-third into this book and can already tell I’m going to love it. Mostly because of Mephi because he is the best! I legit need a Mephi plushie right now. One that could hang around my neck and be all cozy 😌 Anyways… the book! I’m loving the multiple POVs, the wonderful world-building, and especially Jovis and Lin. They are my favorites so far and I can’t help but root for them both! I’m looking forward to continuing my read.
- All Your Twisted Secrets by Diana Urban: This is my second Diana Urban thriller, though it’s her first one, and I find myself liking this one more than the other, haha. It’s probably because I don’t want to shake the main character every two seconds. Do I find the premise a little outlandish? Sure, but I’m still having a great time! I’m hoping that trend continues as I read more.
Recently Finished
- A Snake Falls to Earth by Darcie Little Badger: This book wasn’t on my TBR, but it was picked as a book of the month for one of my Goodreads groups. I figured, why not? I’m so glad I gave it a chance! This was an incredibly fun and engaging read, with elements of real world issues and characters you can’t help but love. Nina and Oli were the best and I loved the concept of the Reflecting World populated by animal people. Oli is the sweetest bean and must be protected at all costs! This book has certainly made me want to read something else by Darcie Little Badger.
- The Hawthorne Legacy by Jennifer Lynn Barnes: I did it, y’all. I made it through some of the worst Texan accents I’ve ever heard! This audiobook narrator did a good job, but I wouldn’t say accents are her strong point. That aside, this was an action-packed, puzzle filled, wild ride and I had a great time taking every twist and turn! I did want to smack Avery near the end for spoilery reasons, but she’s still a great character. A great character who is Going Though It and made some pretty dumb decisions because of that. Reading this certainly made me excited for the last book in the series! Just… maybe I’ll read that one physically 😅
What’s Next
Ya know, I’m not 100% sure what I’ll be reading next. I’m still focusing on books on my two readathon TBRs, but I’ve already spoken about those in previous WWW Wednesday posts. So, for this week, I’ll just not pick anything new! I’m already swamped as it is 😂
I haven’t even read The Inheritance Games yet. I own it, but haven’t read it. I read All Your Twisted Secrets at the suggestion of one of the booksellers at Barnes & Noble. I loved it. I didn’t know she has a second book out though.

The Inheritance Games is a great read! I’m not sure whether I liked that or the sequel better, haha. And I definitely liked All Your Twisted Secrets more than These Deadly Games, though TDG was still a good book.
