The Book Blogger Hop was originally created by Crazy-For-Books and is currently being hosted by Coffee Addicted Writer. Every Friday, a new question is posted for book bloggers to answer in the coming week. The purpose of the hop is connection and community. You can discover new blogs to follow, new books to read, and you may end up with some new followers, as well!
This Week’s Question
Which do you prefer to be known as: a voracious reader or a book nerd?

*glances up at her blog name* … Well… 😂😂
Honestly, it doesn’t really matter to me which one is applied to me. They are very similar to me, after all! What is the difference between a voracious reader and a book nerd? I suppose a voracious reader can be someone who reads a lot, who loves the act of reading, and who reads pretty much anything. A book nerd can be someone who loves every aspect of books, from their design to their smell and, of course, the content inside. In my mind, a book nerd is someone who really gets into the fandom surrounding a book they love while a voracious reader is someone who maybe doesn’t go that deep, though that is of course just my opinion!
All that rambling aside, I honestly think they are both different sides of the same coin, ya know? They are both book lovers and I would be proud and happy to be called either one!
But clearly I’m partial to ‘book nerd’ 😉
