Current Reads
Silver Under Nightfall by Rin Chupeco
I’m participating in Netgalley November with a bunch of bookish friends and this was one of the first ones I picked up. I was excited to pick this up because it sounded like a different take on a vampire story. I was prepared for paranormal hijinks. I was not prepared for a vampire-half vampire-vampire hunter throuple but I ain’t mad about it! This book is dark and steamy and thrilling in the best ways so far. I’m loving the rep, the action, and the ✨drama✨

The Dead Romantics by Ashley Poston
Y’all… this book both broke my heart and gave me all the warm fuzzies 😭 Trigger warnings for death of a parent and depictions of grief because Ashley Poston Goes There. Congrats to this book for being the first to make me actually cry this year! Not just tearing up, mind you. Full on leaking eyeballs and a headache afterwards. But then the love story had me smiling like an idiot on the very next page. The whiplash was real 😂 All that to say I thoroughly enjoyed this book!
What’s Next
Upgrade by Blake Crouch
This is another Netgalley November read! It’s also the first time I’ll be reading Blake Crouch, though his books have been on my TBR for ages. I’m looking forward to experiencing his particular brand of science fiction. I constantly hear people raving about his books, so I’m hoping to love them, too! The premise certainly intrigues me, with promises of genome hacking and family secrets. I am ready for this ride.
The Dead Romantics is on my TBR!! I really want to get to that one.
