#5OnMyTBR – Title Starting With F

#5OnMyTBR is a bookish meme hosted by E. @ Local Bee Hunter’s Nook where you chose five books from your to-be-read pile that fit that week’s theme. If you’d like more info, head over to the announcement post!

Hello, reader!

Happy Presidents Day for those of you in the United States! Or, if you’re lucky enough to have the day off, happy long weekend, haha. I took the week off because I honestly needed a break and I wanted some time to hang out with my kiddos. I’m looking forward to a week of lounging and chilling with the family! Right now, though, it’s time for another 5 On My TBR. This week, I’ll be talking about five books on my TBR that have titles that start with ‘F’. Which was a lot harder to find than I thought it was going to be! The ones I picked, though, are five that I’m eager to read soon.

With that said, let’s get to the list!

#1. Fate of the Fallen by Kel Kade

When I first heard about this book, I knew I was going to want to read it. It follows the best friend of the Chosen One, who thinks this whole ‘save-the-world’ stuff is overrated. That sounds like such a fun concept! I’ve heard mixed reviews about the book since it was released, but it’s still high up on my radar. I’m hoping I fall on the side of loving it!

#2. Felix Ever After by Kacen Callender

I’ve been meaning to read this book since it was released! This book about a trans boy who is being blackmailed while simultaneously falling in love sounds like it would be such an incredible read. I’ve heard nothing but great things about it, as well! It seems like it would be a great read about settling into one’s skin and finding out how to love yourself. Plus the cover is 🔥

#3. Final Girls by Riley Sager

Look, y’all. I own every single Riley Sager book and I haven’t read a single one. This is an author where I jumped on the hype train earlier on and I’ve just… stayed. For no reason 😂 It’s the synopsis’ of his books that always get me. Like this one that centers around a group of ‘final girls’, women who have survived mass murders, and what happens when they start dying out of the blue. I’ve heard that this is probably his worst book, but I want to start at the beginning!

#4. Flamefall by Rosaria Munda

I read the first book in this series, Fireborne, what seems like ages ago and I loved it! So of course I immediately added the rest of the Aurelian Cycle to my TBR. Clearly, that’s as far as I got 😅 Seriously, though, I had such an incredible experience reading the first book and it ended with such a cliffhanger! I’m excited to continue Annie and Lee’s stories and see where the events of the first book take them.

#5. Foul Lady Fortune by Chloe Gong

I adored Chloe Gong’s debut, These Violent Delights, and I love that her subsequent books, even outside of the original duology, follow the same cast of characters. This book features Rosalind, who we meet in the original series. I haven’t read Our Violent Ends, so I’m not sure what happens to her at the end, but now she’s a spy and it sounds like she’s found herself in a dire situation. I’m excited to give this one a read… once I finally finish the first duology.

What are some books with titles that start with ‘F’ that are on your TBR? Have you read any of the books on mine? Let me know in the comments!

And, as always, happy reading!
