WWW Wednesday: Jan 8, 2020

It’s time for another WWW Wednesday! This is a bookish meme hosted by Taking on a World of Words where bloggers answer the 3 Ws:

  1. What are you currently reading?
  2. What did you recently finish reading?
  3. What do you think you’ll read next?

Current Reads

A Heart so Fierce and Broken by Brigid Kemmerer

I’m about halfway through my e-ARC and I am loving it! Mostly because we get to see Grey’s perspective and I’m really intrigued by Lia Mara. This just came out, so I’m trying to have it done by the end of the week!

The Starless Sea by Erin Morgenstern

I’m reading this for an online book club and I am having a VERY HARD TIME sticking to the reading schedule. I love this book. I love Zachary. This is most definitely going to be a favorite of the year. But I also don’t want it to end! Uuuuuugh!

Recently Finished

The God Game by Danny Tobey

Rating: 4 out of 5.

My first read of the year and it was intense! This is a twisted story about a game that tests your morals. If you’d like to read my full review, click here.

What’s Next

Nameless Queen by Rebecca McLaughlin

This is an e-ARC that I really want to get to since the book came out *looks at wrist* yesterday… So this is definitely up next! It’s about a girl who is Nameless (which is the lowest class in this world) who suddenly becomes queen. So you know there will be political shenanigans!

The Tenant by Katrine Engberg

Another e-ARC that is coming out next week, so I really want to dig in and read this one. It sounds dark and twisty, which is right up my alley! A woman is found murdered in her apartment and the detectives discover that her murder was written in her landlady’s unfinished mystery novel. Hijinks ensue! Or so I assume.

Have you read any of these books? What are you diving into this week? Let me know in the comments!

And, as always, happy reading!
