#5OnMyTBR is a bookish meme hosted by E. @ Local Bee Hunter’s Nook where you chose five books from your to-be-read pile that fit that week’s theme. If you’d like more info, head over to the announcement post!
It’s the start of another week and that means it’s time for another #5OnMyTBR! This week, I’ll be talking about books that are a little different from the norm. They aren’t told through normal prose, but in an unconventional format. Think of books told through letters, diary entries, or a combination of different forms! I’m always intrigued by books that a little different from the norm, so there are quite a few on my TBR. That being said, let’s dive in!
#1. The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky
I feel like one of just a few people who haven’t read this iconic book. It’s a coming of age story told through a series of letters. I’ve been wanting to read this for ages. It sounds like it will be a powerful, if heartbreaking, story. And we all know how much I love to have my heart crushed by a book! …I have a problem 😅
