End of the Year Book Tag 2020

Hello, reader!

It’s time for another tag! And this one seems especially appropriate as it’s the End of the Year Book Tag. I know we have a few weeks yet til 2021, but I’m already in planning mode for the new year. As 2020 winds down, I like to try and wrap a lot of my reading up so I can start the next year fresh. This tag will help me see what books I need to prioritize in the next few weeks!

I want to thank the incredible Danni @ _ForBooksSake for tagging me! Her blog is awesome, as is her taste in thrillers, so y’all should definitely check her out! I’m not sure who originated this tag, but if I find out, I will make sure to let you know.

Alright, let’s get to the tag!

#1. Are there any books you started this year that you need to finish?

Even though I’m scared, I’m determined to finish The Dragon Republic by R.F. Kuang! I’m only a chapter in, but I’m already so nervous, lol. I’m excited to continue Rin’s story and, at the same time, I know it’s gonna hurt me. Either way, though, I really want to finish this before going into 2021.

Also, this is a library loan and it’s due back soon 😬

#2. Do you have an autumnal book to transition into the end of the year?

Probably should have answered this more towards the beginning of autumn… whoops!

Well, that being said, the first book that popped into my head was Small Spaces by Katherine Arden. This book practically screams fall and might even make you scream a little. It’s a middle grade horror that even gave this hardened horror-lover some minor chills. Scarecrows are creepy, y’all. It’s also a short read, so it seems like a book I wouldn’t mind re-read around fall every year.
