WWW Wednesday: Feb 5, 2020

It’s time for another WWW Wednesday! This is a bookish meme hosted by Taking on a World of Words where bloggers answer the 3 Ws:

  1. What are you currently reading?
  2. What did you recently finish reading?
  3. What do you think you’ll read next?

If you’d like to learn more about any of these books, click on the cover to be taken to the Goodreads page.

Current Reads

After the Flood by Kassandra Montag: I picked this book after Jesse @ Bowties and Books gushed about it on their channel. It sounded like it was going to be an intense ride and, so far, it is definitely delivering on the intensity! I’m really enjoying the plot and the writing is engaging af. I’m excited to continue!

The Tenant by Katrine Engberg: Well, this was an alright mystery/crime novel and that’s about it *shrug* It had a great premise, but the execution left me feeling a bit meh. You can read my review here.

Come Tumbling Down by Seanan McGuire: The fifth book in the Wayward Children series did NOT disappoint! I absolutely loved getting to see Jack and Jill again in their creepy world. You can read my review here.

American Dirt by Jeanine Cummins: This book was a pile of problems and not just because of the terrible promotion that tried to make people believe it was own voices. There is so much going on with this book that it’s taking me awhile to wrap my head around it so I can write a review. But it is an ARC, so a review is forthcoming!

Get a Life, Chloe Brown by Talia Hibbert: UGH, I loved this! It was adorable and sexy and heartbreaking and I can’t wait to read the next Brown Sisters book! There will be a review soon.

What’s Next

Tuesday Mooney Talks to Ghosts by Kate Racculia: I talked about this book a little bit in my Top Ten Tuesday post yesterday. I’m incredibly excited to read this! It’s also due back to the library soon, which seems to be my motivation for picking my next reads these past few months, lol.

The Unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren: My last library romance pick and it’s the one that made me want to give adult romances a try in the first place. I’ve just heard about it (and the authors) EVERYWHERE and I want to know what’s with all the hype. Yes, I can be made to read a book simply because of hype. Also, shocker, it’s due back soon 😆

So what are you reading this week? Did you do a WWW Wednesday post? Talk to me/drop a link in the comments!

And, as always, happy reading!
