Hello, reader!

We’ve made it to another Friday and I’m ready for some rest! It’s been a busy week at work and I’m ready to be able to just sit with a book and relax. And it just so happens that the book I’m planning to crack open this weekend is the book I’m using for this week’s First Lines Friday. It’s a thriller that seems like it’s going to be dark, twisty and right up my alley!

But, before I start giving you more hints, let’s look at the first few lines.
